CPMS maintains an informal database of local and international consultants whose services can be contracted through CPMS. Our consultants possess a range of skills covering various disciplines, including social development, water and sanitation, community development, logistics and construction.

Our consultants can be hired directly for a fee or as part of a full service package from CPMS. Below are listed some of our consultants.

  • Asrate Mesfin, Project Proposal Development
    • Asrate has over 20 years experience, of which most is in development in various roles including fundraising and programme/project management. His development work has been with NGOs working in Europe, Asia and Africa. Asrate holds an MSc in International Politics and a BSc in Developement Studies and Economics, both taken in the UK.

  • Giya Ginjo, Social Development Consultant
    • Giya has over 16 years of experience in a career that has moved from education - spanning teaching, management and curriculum development - into development. He has worked with a number of leading NGOs in Ethiopia in different roles including programme coordination, policy and research. Giya holds an MA in Development Studies and a BSc in Education, both from Addis Ababa University.
  • Joe Hill, Development Consultant/Natural Resource Use and Management Specialist
    • Joe has about nine years experience in the field of water and natural resources management and development. Before residing in Ethiopia where he has undertaken several research studies, Joe spent over two and a half years based in South Asia undertaking water resources research. His skills include understanding the social-legal, socio-economic, organizational and technical/physical dimensions to water rights and control, and to irrigation technologies and development; directly interacting with rural communities and a range of NGOs, policymakers and academics/development consultants; designing and conducting research activities and recording and disseminating outcomes. Joe’s subject specialty is small-scale irrigation development in rural subsistence farming systems.

  • Judith Sandford, Development Consultant/Food Security Specialist
  • Terri O'Sullivan, Web & IT Consultant
    • Terri has over 15 years experience in IT and education, mainly in Ireland and Ethiopia. She has lived and worked in Ethiopia for 4 years, where she has taught IT subjects at university level and worked on improving the use of ICT in higher education. She is a web developer with a focus on CMS (Content Management Systems) and LMS (Learning Management Systems). Terri has an MSc in IT in Education and a BA in Management Science and Industrial Systems Studies, both from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland.
